Born in Romania in 2001 and based in London. In 2020, Denisa Harbuz started working for Gen, revista, the most widely read Gen Z magazine in Romania (100K+ followers). Following her first article being nominated for a journalism award at Superscrieri in Romania, Denisa started working alongside director Razvan Macovei on adapting her story about a young immigrant in Germany into a TV Series. The series won the Creative Europe and French CNC COCO-I development grant in December 2023. She has recently completed a screenwriting program at the National Film and Television School (NFTS) and her latest project is a collaboration with the Odeon Theatre in Bucharest where her article was adapted for a theatre play titled “The Fragile Feeling of Hope (Sentimentul Fragil al Sperantei). Currently, Denisa is pursuing an MA in Screenwriting at the UAL London College of Communication.
